POLO GYMKHANA.

Th© annual sports held under the auspices of the ' Auckland Polo Club took place at Alexandra Park OI L and proved very enjoyable. The wcat was simply delightful, and the attendance accordingly considerable. After the decision of the P°]° C ¥P Race Dr. A. C. Purchas presented the Auckland Provincial Polo Challenge Cup to the Auckland 'senior team, who were successful in thq tournament final on biidaylast. Mr H. C. Texas led at the start, but then Gaiety going to the front won in a canter by two lengths. A Waterloo Melee finished off the day’s proceedings, this being w T on by Auckland.
