New attractions and holiday programmes are announced at all the theatres and halls for Christmas week. “ His Majesty’s Theatre, said to be the best appointed house in Australasia, will W-opnned oh Friday (Boxing Night) by 4 Mr J. U. Williamson’s Musical Comedy Company/: \ • . “ The Wrong Mr Wright” will.be introduced to the Auckland public on Boxing Night at the Opera House. The Gaiety Company at the City Hall will present a new and varied programme this week, a feature of which will be the first appearance in New Zealand -of the acrobatic team—the Wilton Bros, and the English tenor Mr Frank Graham St. Hill’s Biograph is giving two programmes each night at Hennings’s Bicycle Arcade. The pictures are exceptionally good and clear, and include several rounds from the great JefferiesCorbet fight, the match between Dixon and McGovern, and the principal rounds of the Jefferies-Fitzsimmons fight, as well as a series of animated pictures and views. Full houses are recorded for each performance. Montgomerie’s entertainment opens a the Federal Hall on Boxing Night for short season. New features and new attractions have been added to their up to-date show since their last visit t Auckland.
