A large number depended upon Ingliston for the Caulfield Cup, but only three coupled Ideal with him, and nobody selected Olean Sweep as the winner of the Melbourne Cup in conjunction with Tn glisten and Ideal. The downfall of Record Reign, Malatua and Tortulla destroyed the chances of a large number of competitors to whom we wish better luck next time.
