THE SYDNEY AUTUMN SALES.
Cn Wednesday, April 18, Messrs H. Chisholm and Co. held their am ual sale of yearlings at their new stables near the Rand wick Tram Sheds. There was a large attendance, included being several racing men from the other colonies. The sale was a success, the seventy-three youngsters disposed of totalling 7150gns, the highest price realised being 700gns, for the Haut Brion—Spite filly, bred by Mr 8. Hordern. A few lots were passed in, among being a sister to Paul Pry, at I4sgns (reserve being 150gns), a halfsister (by Correze) to Stand Off, a half brother (by Gossoon) to Abercorn, and a filly by Medallion ftom Blue and White.
