La Reine—George Smith’s horses— M’Guiness’ two - year - olds Red Banner and at. Hiko—New Zealand Cup betting.

Dunedin, June 13. La Reine has been sent home to the Hon. G. McLean’s to winter.

George Smith has a four-year-old unnamed gelding by Chainshot —Prima Donna in work. J. McGuinness has started in their preliminaries a couple of well bred youngsters this week. One is a full brother to Brisa, and the other a full sister to Euroclydon. They should prove useful as two-j ear-olds in tha coming season. There has not been any wagering of importance here on the New Zealand Cup. Red Banner and Bt. Hiko are both likely to go up to the C.J.C. National meeting.
