Liquidation is full-sister to Wapiti, who field the mile and a half record for New Zealand for several years, and whose progeny continue to win races. Liquidation was a good performer on the turf, and Reconstruction and Hastings—her offspring before the filly offered for sale—have both won races. Hastings has proved himself to be one of the best two-year-olds in the Auckland district. King Cole, the sire of Liquidation, also got the famous Nelson, Royal Rose, and many other well-known winners. This filly is well built, and has running blood in her veins.
