Mr Verto, who has been showing in sleight-of-hand performances at the Exhibition in conjunction with Miss Millie Richardson (serio-comic), has received by the American mail a new illusion entitled the “ Maskylene Box Mystery. This is the illusion which has caused so much excitement and litigation in London lately. On the return of Messrs Dix and Cadzow from their trip to the goldfields Mr Verto will take the place of Mr Winton (the ventriloquist) in the combination, and will go through the Waikato as a prelude to a more extended tour.
