This week we present our readers with a portrait of Mr Robert Henry, proprietor of the Henry Dramatic Company, which opens at the Opera House on Tuesday next, October 18th. Mr Henry has proved himself a competent stagemanager, and the many praises showered upon him and his better half, Miss Billie Howarde (whose picture also appears on the same page), by the Press during their sojourn m Australia goes to show that Auckland theatregoers have a treat in store. On page 15 will be found a good picture of the talented Payne Family, who have been delighting patrons of the Opera House during the past week. We reproduce pictures of Mr Thomas Morrin, the proprietor of the Wellington Park Stud Farm ; of the homestead at Wellington Park ; of the famous mare Frailty, with a colt by Hotchkiss at foot; and a group of mares and foals at the celebrated breeding establishment, all from photographs taken by Mr F. W. Edwards. The remaining picture is a likeness of Light, the winner of the Wanganui Stakes at the recent meeting of the Wanganui Jockey Club.
