OUR RACING SKILL COMPETITION.
£25 FOR THE PLACED HORSES IN THE MELBOURNE CUP! Our £lOO Competition for the Three Cups having closed, we this week present our readers with a new coupon. We offer £25 to the person or persons who can predict the first three horses in the Melbourne Cup. If more than one competitor is suczessful in selecting the place horses, then the prize will be divided amongst the skilful ones. This coupon will only appear once more, in our issue of October 20. All coupons must reach the office of the Spouting Review, Vulcan Lane, Auckland, not later than October 27. Any coupons arriving after that date will be informal, and will not be eligible for the competition.
