ENTRIES for the first day close at Metropolitan Hotel, on FRIDAY, let July, at 9 p.m. SATURDAY, JULY 23. Handicap Hack Hurdles (£7 10s), one mile and a half. Butchers’ Handicap (£5), for horses which have been regularly ridden as butchers’ hacks, and the bona fide property of butchers. A certificate to accompany nomination from a master butcher. Handicap Hack Cup (£10), one mile. Handicap Hurdle Race (£7 10r), for ponies 14 2 and under, one mile and a quarter. Electric Handicap (£5) for hacks, seven furlongs. Pony Handicap (£5), for ponies 14.2 and under, six furlongs. Nominations must be accompanied by cash. Entrances, 5 per cent, on amount of stakes ; no acceptances.
