THE WELLINGTON STAKES.
The weights, including penalties to be carried by horses engaged in the Wellington Stakes are as follows :—
A payment, to be made on the 17th inst., will probably (wires our Wellington correspondent) cause a great weeding out. Of those likely to start I prefer Chasseur, with Stead’s best and Tigress in that order.
