FABULOUS is half-brother to St. Leger, now standing at 50 guineas a mare. LEOLINUS. the sire of Fabulous, won over £5,000 in stakes, over all kinds of courses. He was a rare stayer, very fas’, and a great weight carrier, transmitting the last quality to his progeny in a most surprising manner. ATLANTIS, the dam of Fabulous, was a good performer ou the turf, having won over 2000 sovs in stakes during her two-year-old career. She is also the dam of St. Leger, the champion sire in New Zealand at the present time. FABULOUS is a Bright Chestnut, of very handsome appearance, standing over sixteen hands high, showing plenty of bone and substance. Since he lias been at the stud his stock have done him credit. Fabulist, the son of Fabulous, was the ciack three-year-old of Season 1895-96, winning the Great Northern Derby (in the fast time of 2min 39}?ec) and other races, amounting in stakes to over £l4OO.
