THE AGRICULTURAL SHOW.
The Agricultural Show, which will be held tomorrow and on Saturday, promises this year to be an unqualified success ; and at the request of the Secretary we gladly commend the Show to the attention and patronage of our readers. The entries for exhibits in the various classes are unusually large, and we may expect a splendid display of live stock, while in the horticultural and local industries sections the show promises to be a good one. The programme prepared for each day should prove highly attractive to the patrons of the Show. To-morrow there will be the flower and fruit exhibition (in which so many take an interest), the leaping match and trial of hunters, the sheep dogs trial, and other items. On the following day, in addition to the horse parade, we are promised the ever popular hunting competition for ladies and gentlemen, and ' the boys’ leaping match. It is to be hoped that the Show will meet with the success it deserves. The catering has been entrusted to Mr T. McEwin, and the price of the public luncheon has been fixed at the reasonable figure of Is 6d.
