During the week Mi* Charles Godfrey and his talented company have given a series of success- : ful entertainments fet the Opera House, and the audiences have been large and appreciative; A new and attractive feature of the entertainments was the exhibition of Edison’s Kinematograph. The various scenes produced by Mr marvellous 'inVention proved most effective, and won from those present hearty applause. 1 ’ SfetUri day will be the last day of •Mr Godfrey's'-segnOn, and on that day there will be exhibitions of the machine at two, three, four, and five o’clock. It will also form part of the evening’s enter! ainment. The Godfrey Company will visit the Thames on Monday, Paeroa on Tuesday, and the Thames again on Wednesdav. After that’ they go South, where, it is hoped by their- numerous ' friends/they will have a pleasant and Successfulseason. ■ ■ • • - ; . .
