Winners, after the Ist August, 1898, of any race or races collectively of the value of 250 sovs, 31b ; of 500 sovs, 51b ; of 750 sovs, 71b ;of 1,000 sovs, 101 b extra Maiden four-year-olds, at time of starting, allowed 101 b ; three-year-olds, 71b; two-year-olds, 51b. By subscription of 10 sovs each, payable to the Secretary of the D.J.C. on General Entry Day, Autumn Meeting, 1899, unless forfeits are declared and paid as follows :—Two-year-olds (foals of 1894) and yearlings (foals of 1895) may be struck out, upon payment of 2 sovs, by the first Saturday in August, 1897; or, upon payment of 4 sovs, by the first Saturday in August, 1898 ; or, upon payment of 8 sovs, by the first Saturday in December, 1898. Foals of 1896 may be struck out upon payment of 2 sovs by the first Saturday in March, 1898; or, upon payment of 4 sovs, by the first Saturday in August, 1898; or, upon payment of 8 sovs. by the first Saturday in December, 1898. All horses remaining in after the first Saturday in December, 1898, must pay their total entrance of 10 sovs by General Entry Day, Autumn Meeting, 1899. Fifty of those entered as two-year-olds and yearlings to remain in on the first Saturday in August, 1897, or the stake and moneys payable thereout may be reduced. ENTRY. For two-year-olds (foals of 1894) and yearlings (foals of 1895), on SATURDAY, 19th September, 1596. For foals of 1896, on SATURDAY, 6th February, 1897. No money is required at the time of nomination.
