MOSS has decided to execute Double Commissions on these events on the following lines, which is new o New Zealand, and which he believes will be approved of by the sporting public. 300 to be Divided as under:— 200 to the backer of the winners of the two Cups ; 60 to the backer of the first horse in the New Zealand Cup and second horse in the Melbourne Cup; 40 to the backer of the first horse in the New Zealand Cup and the third in the Melbourne Cup. For example : Suppose a backer takes Fabulist and Wallace, and they both win, he gets 200, and to give him more chances of winning, should Fabulist win the New Zealand Cup and Wallace run second in the Melbourne Cup, he would receive 60. Again, should Fabulist win and Wallace run third, he would get 40. Any backer of a double getting a leg in in the New Zealand Cup and his horse is placed first, second, or third in the Melbourne Cup, receives respectively 200, 60, or 40 New Zealand Cup, Melbourne Cup, Caulfield Cup , N-Z- and Melbourne Cups, Christchurch.
