Nat, Lord Vivian, and Gillie fell at the first fence. The latter two, however, were soon remounted. Booties and Timothy made all the running. Gillie again fell, and Lord Vivian over the top of him. This left the race to the. two leaders, Booties eventually winning by four lengths, Lord Vivian a poor third, Sir Athol fourth, and Gillie fifth. Time, 6min 47sec. Dividend, £3 7s.
