The Wairarapa Racing Club have drawn up the following programme for their meeting on Easter Monday and Tuesday (without the totalisator) : —First day—Trial Hack of 20 sovs, six furlongs ; Telegraph Handicap of 30 sovs, seven furlongs; Autumn Hack Handicap of 25 sovs, one mile and a quarter ; Easter Handicap of 55 sovs, one mile and a half ; Flying Hack Handicap of 20 sovs, four furlongs; Open Welter Handicap of 30 sovs, one mile; Hack Welter Handicap of 20 sovs, one mile. Second day — Winter Oats Handicap of 30 sovs, six furlongs; Hack Hurdles of 25 sovs, one mile and a half ; Moroa Hack Handicap of 20 sovs, six furlongs ;

Stewards’ Handicap of 45 sovs, one mile and a quarter ; County Hack Handicap of 25 sovs, one mile and a half ; Farewell Handicap of 30 sovs, one mile; and Final Hack Handicap of 20 sovs, one mile. Nominations close at Featherston on Saturday, 23th March, at 7 pm. ; weights are due on April Ist. Bookmakers will be licensed to bet on the course at a fee of £5 per day. J
