Autumn Nursery Handicap, six furlongs, in 1.16, beating some of the best youngsters in Australia; Armilla won the Musket Stakes and Nursery Handicap (carrying 9st in a large field). September Stakes and Welcome Stakes), and three-quarter brother to that game mare Forme (winner, as a two-year-old, of the September Stakes, Auckland, Welcome Stakes, Hawke’s Bay ; and, as a three-year-old, won the Hawke’s Bay Guineas, ten runners, consisting of the pick of New Zealand three-year-olds, and the Auckland Guineas.
