The mining centre will have its racecourse busy on the 26th inst., when the Summer Meeting of the Thames J.C. opens. Good acceptances have been received. My fancies (with start in) for the meeting are as follow: —-Goldfields Cup, Hazel mere or Eve; First Hurdles, Cingalee or Ditto ; First Steeplechase, Ika or Cingalee ; First Pony Handicap, Valencia or Nannie ; PonyHurdles, Kathleen or Little Jane.
