ANTICIPATION AND RESULT DEPARTMENT.
As will be seen from announcements appearing in our business columns, the proprietors of the Sporting- Review have decided to establish Anticipation and Result Departments in connection with the journal. In the racing centres of the Old World, tipping departments have long been in vogue, and from our knowledge of the racing experts with whom we hare completed arrangements, we feel sure that our wire finals will result in pecuniary profit to subscribers and increased popularity to the Review. We have made special arrangements right through the Island with men possessing special facility for watching track work and obtaining reliable information as to the intentions of the various stables, and we are confident that followers of racing desiring accurate information cannot do better than place themselves in communication with our “ Wire Final ” Department, particulars of which appear on another page. Another innovation in connection with the Review is the Result Department, from which the results of the various races in New Zealand will be wired at a cost of Is 6d each. Full particulars will be advertised prior to the date of each meeting.
