For horses that have not won un advertised trot, either in saddle or harness, at the time of starting. To start at 12 noon. Handicap Pony Trot (harness) of 20 sovs; second pony to receive 3 sovs from the stakes. Height 14.2 and’under. Nomination 10s, Acceptance 10s. Two miles. To start at 12.45 p.m. Manawatu Handicap Trot (saddle) of 70 sovs; second horse to receive 7 sovs and the third horse 3 sovs from the stakes. Nomination 30s, Acceptance 2 sovs. Three miles. To start at 1.45 p.m. Handicap Pony Trot (saddle) of 20 sovs; second pony to receive 3 sovs from the stakes. Nomination 10s,' Acceptance 10s. Two miles. To start at 2.30 p.m. Electric Handicap Trot (saddle) of 30 sovs ; second horse to receive 5 sovs from the stakes. Nomination 15s, Acceptance 15s. One mile. To start at 3.15 p.m. Post Stakes (saddle) of 10 sovs. For horses that have never won an advertised trot of any description. Post entry, 10s. One mile. To start at 3.45 p.m. Autumn Handicap Trot (harness) of 60 sovs; second horse to receive 7 sovs and the third horse 3 sovs from the stakes. Nomination 30s, Acceptance 30s. To start at 4.45 p.m. DATES OF NOMINATIONS AND ACCEPTANCES. Nominations close with the Secretary at Palmerston North on WEDNESDAY, February 6th, at 9 p.m. Handicaps will appear on or about February 12th. Acceptances close on WEDNESDAY, February 20th, at 9 p.m. with the Secretary at Palmerston North. Entries for Post Stakes will be received up to 3 p.m. on day of meeting. RULES AND REGULATIONS. All ponies must be measured before starting. Previous performances of the horses to be given at the time of nomination, also colours of the riders. All horses must be ridden and driven out. If distanced by first horse, second and third money will be paid to the winner. All protests to be accompanied by a fee of 2 sovs, to be forfeited if the protest is not sustained. All disputes and obj ections arising out of the racing shall be decided by a majority of the Stewards present, whose decision shall be final, and shall not be questioned in any Court of Law. Entries only received on this condition. Nominators must state the bona fide owner of horses. To be run uneer the rules of the Palmerston North Metropolitan Trotting Association.
