Pressure on our space prevents any preamble respecting to days racing at Wellington. ~ So with an apology for the absence of the usual preliminary canter, here are my fancies : — Hutt Park Spring Handicap, Dreamland, Mahaki, or Musket; Grand Stand Handicap, Mahaki ; Flying Handicap, Prioress or Searchlight; Hurdles, Roscius or Osman; Welter, King John; Shorts, King’s Bowman. The meeting will be Y continued on Saturday, 24th inst, when the leading item on the card will be the November Handicap of 125 sovs., 1 mile and a furlong.
