New Year’s Handicap Hurdle Race of 100 sovs; ‘ second horse to receive 10 sovs out of the stake. Entrance 1 sov, and Acceptance 2 sovs each, to go to the funds. Over 8 flights of hurdles. Two miles. Glasgow Handicap of 100 sovs; second horse to receive 10 sovs out of the stake. Entrance 1 sov, and Acceptance 2 sovs each, to go to the funds. For three-year-olds and upwards. Seven furlongs. Great Northern Derby of 500 sovs, added to a sweepstake of 15 sovs each ; 5 sovs forfeit or no liability if declared to the Secretary by 8 o’clock p.m. on the night of general entry.
