The suburban and country racing clubs registered by the V.R.C. have formed a Victorian Trotting Association. The object is “to foster and encourage trotting, including class and handicap trotting; to protect breeders and to improve trotting blood ; to prosecute frauds and deceptions; and to support stewards and officials at all registered and approved racing and trotting clubs.” Any horse trotting on any Victorion course which is not registered by the V.R.C. and approved of by the Association on and after July 2nd will, together with the owner, trainei, and rider or driver, be disqualified.
