In making last year’s N.Z. Cup handicap Mr Henry made the top weight 9.10, and the second top weight 9.1. This year he gives us instead 9.8 and 8.8, which weighting means that the top and medium weighted ones have all the best of it, and the lower weighted horses have not the chance commonly called “ Buckley’s.”
