Nominations for Handicap Hurdle Race and Bay of Plenty Handicap, accompanied by the fees, to be mailed so as to be in the hands of the secretary, Tauranga, by noon on Wednesday, January 3rd. and endorsed entries. 111. Weights to be declared on or before Sat., Jan. 13. IV. Acceptances and general entries, accompanied by the respective fees, to be mailed so as to be in the hands of the Secretary by noon on Saturday, January 20th, and endorsed entries. V. If a walk over, only half stakes will be given. VI. A training fee of 10s 6d will be charged to all owners training horses on the course, and all owners training without permission from the secretary will be disqualified. VII. Races to be ridden in proper costume. Attention is called to this rule as it will be strictly enforced under penalty of 1 sov.
