Waikato Sires’ Produce Stakes, 1893-4, of 65 sovs, added to a sweepstake of 2 sovs each; 1 sov forfeit, or no liability if declared by 8 o’clock on night of General Entry for Summer Meeting, 1893, second horse to receive 10 sovs from the stakes, and owner of the winner’s sire to receive 5 sovs from the stakes. Foi’ two-year-olds. Colts, Bst 101 b; fillies and geldings, Bst 51b. The forfeit (1 sov) to be declared and paid to the Secretary by 12 noon on the day before the race, or the nominator will be liable for the whole stake. 4 Sot di Auckland Cup Handicap of 70 sovs second horse to receive 5 sovs out of the stakes , third horse 2J sovs. Winner of any race of the value of 50 sovs after the declaration of the weights to carry 71b extra.
