Ladies and Gentlemen. — Rumours having been circulated that I intend to retire from the contest for the Mayoral Seat, I beg to state that I have no intention whatever of doing so. As some five weeks must elapse before the Election takes place, you will have ample time to consider the merits of the Candidates.
