PAKURANGA HUNT CLUB.
The annual meeting of the members of the Pakuranga Hunt Club was held on Friday afternoon, at the offices of the Auckland Racing Club There were present: Messrs. W. Percivul (Master), in the chair, J. W. Wallace, J. Rae, J. 0. Hanna, W. Ware, G. Dunnett, W. McLaughlin, J. S. Buckland, J. R. Martin, J. McCaw, V. Taylor, H. Gorrie. R. Garrett, W. R. Bloomfield, A. E. Gilmore, H. T. 0. Tonks, D. Tonks, and Lieut.-Col. Dawson. The report and balance sheet having been discussed, it was resolved that “ this meeting stand adjourned, and that a subcommittee be appointed for the purpose of going into the accounts and drawing up a report to be submitted to a general meeting, the day to be fixed by the subcommittee.” It was also resolved, on the motion of Mr Bloomfield, seconded by Mr Wallace, that the following gentlemen be appointed as a sub-committee :—Messrs. McLaughlin, Percival, Garrett, Gorrie, Bloomfield and Hanna. The meeting then adjourned. The sub-committee met yesterday afternoon, when the following recommendations to the next general meeting of members were adopted: — That the Club be carried on; that a sufficient number of members be requested to guarantee a certain amount to the Bank in order to pay existing liabilities, the property of the Club to be made over to such members.
The adjourned annual meeting will be held on Friday, the 12th inst., at 2 p.m., at the Auckland Racing Club’s office.
