At the half-yearly meeting of the Hebrew congregation, held on Sunday last, ‘ Mr’ Harry Goldwater was presented with an address in token of the esteem and respect he earned as secretary of the Hebrew congregation for the past five years. The address was numerously signed by members of the congregation, and ‘ Harry’ looked quite contented and happy during the presentation. * * * Teddy Coleman, Alf Whitaker, and Harry Hayr were passengers by the Te Anau for Sydney on Saturday night—on pleasure bent.
