SOUTH AUCKLAND RACING CLUB.

This popular country club will bring off their Autumn Meeting on Saturday, April B—the8 —the Saturday following Easter Monday. The nomination lists, which appear in another column of this issue, make a goodly array as regards the flat races, but the Hurdle Race and Steeplechase have not been well patronised, there being only five in the former and half a dozen in the latter. There are 14 in the Easter Handicap, 8 in the Autumn Handicap, 8 in the Cambridge Stakes, 8 in the Claudelands’ Handicap, and 14 in the Flying Handicap. Mr E. D. Halstead’s handicaps are due to-morrow.
