Acceptances to be declared before 9 p.m. on FRIDAY, December 9th. Weights for the Christmas Handicap, Handicap Hurdles, Claudelands Plate Handicap, Publicans’ Purse, Railway Stakes, and South Auckland Steeples to appear before 8.30 pm on FRIDAY, December 16th. Acceptances to be declared before 9.30 p.m. same night. Nominations for Novel Race, and first forfeit [2os] Waikato Produce Stakes, together with acceptance [los 6d], to be made to the Secretary before 9 p.m. on FRIDAY, December 2nd [day of general entry], Waikato Produce Stakes. — Second forfeit to be declared by 12 noon on THURSDAY December 15th, or nominator will be liable for whole stake. Five per cent, to be deducted from all stakes to go to improvement of the course. No nominations or acceptances will be received on any pretence whatever after the hour named, or without being accompanied with the necessary amount of cash. Attention of horse-owners is particularly called to this regulation. Any jockey riding except in the colours entered will be fined 3 sovs. Performances and descriptions of the horses and riders’ colours to be sent in with all nominations or acceptances. All races run subject to the rules of the South Auckland Racing Club, as well as the Metropolitan Rules. Mr. H. H. Hayr, of Auckland, is authorised to receive nominations, etc. G. H.
