WANGANUI JOCKEY CLUB’S SPRING MEETING.
The nominations for this gathering, which comes off on October 20th and 21 st, are to hand. There are no South Islanders, but the Napierites are tolerably well represented. There are 22 in the Wanganui Stakes, 19 in the Spring Handicap, a dozen in each Hurdles, 17 in the Flying Handicap, 16 in the Owen Stakes, and 18 in the Castlecliff Stakes. Weights are due on the 13th prox.
