AUCKLAND RACING CLUB’S SPRING MEETING.
The nominations for three of the events of this meeting, which comes off on November 9th and 10th, were received on Friday evening, with the result that 20 were entered for the Prince of Wales Handicap, 13 for the Hurdles, and 27 for the City Handicap. This must be considered a very satisfactory entry, more especially as all are local nags. Included in the list for the flat races are the N.Z. Cup candidates Morion and Coalscuttle. The weights for the Prince of Wales Handicap and Hurdles are due on the 7th prox. - —♦
