The Dancer (by Sword Dance—Vivandiere) is in the sale list. Mr. Hedger’s mare Antelope (by Apremont —Miss Kate) has been served by Nordenfeldt. The steeplechase horse Asper (by Southern Chief) arrived in Auckland from Wanganui on Wednesday. The horse is engaged in the Summer Steeplchase with lost. jib. He has shown his ability more than once across country, and will be well supported on the day. The horse is in charge of Cameron, who will probably ride him.
