Miss Mary Moore
Mrss Mary Mqore, the leading actress at the London Criterion, was born in London. She is the widow of the late James Alberry, the author of many charming plays. After playing leading parts with provincial companies, Miss Moore came to London and joined Mr. Charles Wyndham's Company. Her ability was speedily recognised by the popular actor manager, and before long she held the position of chief actress at the
Criterion. She has been associated with Mr. Wyndham in all his successful comedies, and is one of the cleverest as well as one of the
best liked actresses upon tlio London stago_ Her triumplis have beou as Ada Ingot, in " David Gat-rick," the Quakeress in " Wild Oats." Lottie in "The Two lioses," Grace Harkaway in "London Assurance," Dorothy Cruiekshank in " Rosemary," Lady Susan in "The Case of Rebellious Susan," and as leading lady in all the latest successes puton at the Criterion.
