June 7. At Golf. There were- a large number at the Belmont links on Wednesday, when a bogey match was played. In class A Miss Burr, 19, was five down, and in class B Miss A. Lambert, 17, was two up on bogey. Afternoon tea was provided by Mrs and Miss Hogg and Miss 11. Anderson. Amongst those on the links were; Mr. and Mrs. J. Harold, Mr. and Mrs. Hogg, Miss Hogg, Miss Hadfield, Mrs. H. Good, Mrs. and Miss Fairburn, Miss N. Jackson, Miss G. Christie, Mrs. Mackay', Mrs. Paterson. Mrs. Barnard Browne (Auckland), Mrs. H. Wilson, Miss Wilford, Miss Cave, Mrs. Meldrum, Miss Stevenson, Miss Burr. Miss Lambert, Miss A. Lambert, Miss Barley, Miss Bates. Miss Bates, Miss S. Bymock, Miss D. Brettargh, Miss Browne, Mrs. Davis, Mrs C. Brown. Miss Milne, Mrs. Dynioek. Miss Taylor, Mrs. Armstrong. Miss N. Cowper, Miss A. Cowper, Miss Montgomery Moore, Mrs. A. Izard, and others. Personal. Miss Spenser, of Wanganui, has . returned from her trip to Auckland, where she was visiting relations. Mr. rind Mrs. Barnard Browne, of Whakatane, are staying in Wanganui with Mr. and Mrs. Paterson. •Miss A. Cowper, of Wanganui, h:s returned from a long visit to the South. Mr. Spwiser. of Canada, is staying in Wanganui with the Rev. C. Spenser and Mrs. Spenser. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Cowper, of Aus tralia, are visiting relations in Wan ganui. Mrs. Lacy Peake, of Te Arolia, is staying in Wanganui with Mrs. Henry Peake. Mr. and Mrs. H. Montgomery, who have been visiting relations iii Wanganui, have returned to their home in the North. Mrs. J. T. Stewart, of Wanganui, tell this week for a visit to Auckland. Miss N. Cameron, of Wanganui, Ins returned from her visit to friends in Rangitikei.
