Mr. and Mrs. N. Beamish, “Onga ,Onga,” have returned to their home. . Mrs. Newbegin has gone to Wellington to visit her little son and daughter, who are at school there. Dr. and Mrs. 11. Wilson have returned from the Lakes. •, Mr. O. I). Avison has gone to I’etone Jo attend the funeral of his mother. . Jlliss A. Hunter has gone to Auckland for a few months’ holiday. Miss M. Hewson lias been spending a eliort holiday with Mrs. (Or.) Moore, of jfapier. flirts Marjorie Wheeler is visiting her brother (Captain Wheeler) and his wife at Christchurch. Much sympathy is felt for Mrs. Wheeler in the Joss of her sister, Mrs. Evans (wife of Lieutenant Evans, of the Antarctic Expedition), who died rather suddenly at sea on the voyage Io England. -
