Afternoon Tea. Mrs. Binns gave an enjoyable afternoon tea on Tuesday last. Among her guests were Mrs. Levein, Miss Levein, Miss Walpole, Mrs. Millar and Miss Millar, Miss Fitzherbert, Miss Collius, Miss Kerton, Miss O’Halloran, Miss Wyatt. Competitions and music were enjoyed by the guests. Personal. Miss MeKnight, Palmerston, is the guest of Mrs. 0. Hill, South Street. Mrs. and Miss Kerr (Wanganui) are •staying with Mrs. Millar. Mrs. Bevington Jones, who has been staying in Plimmerton, has returned to Feilding. Miss O’Halloran has returned from Wellington, where she has been for the la-st week. Miss Walker, who has been in Sydney for the last six months, has returned. Mrs. Barton, who has been spending a few weeks in Auckland, has returned to Feilding. Mrs. Blundell (New Plymouth), who has been staying with Mrs. MeAllum, has returned to her home.

Mrs. MAHum has gone to New Plymouth for a few weeks.
