BLENHEIM.
c April 5. Howling. ’ On Wednesday afternoon a number of ladies visited the bowling green to witness the match between the Wellington and Blenheim clubs. A dainty tea was provided by Mrs. Claude Alills, and all enjoyed a very pleasant afternoon. Among the ladies present were: Mis. Bull, Mrs. Cory, Mrs. Duncan, Alm. Jackman (Wellington), Miss Urquhart, Mis. Neville (Timaru), and Miss Neville.
Personal. Mrs. 11. Burden has returned from visiting friends in Nelson. Mm. R. McCallum has returned from Hamilton.
Mr. and Mm. AVeleh have returned from “The Portage," where they spent the Easter holidays. Mrs. Hylton has returned from her visit to Wellington. Mrs. Macallister (Pieton) is visiting her daughter, Mrs. Wicks, “Springlahds." Mm. ('. Neville has returned to Timaru,
after epending a holiday with Mrs. Neville, “Thurston.”
Miss Masefield, “Manaroa,” is spend ing a holiday with friends in Blenheim
Mrs. T. Mills (Pelorus Sounds) has been visiting Aire. C. Mills, Hawkeshaw Street.
Mrs. Higgenson is visiting friends in Auckland.
Mrs Jackman, who has been visiting old friends in Blenheim, returned to Wellington on Thursday. Mrs Cudden is visiting friends in Christchurch.
Miss Chapman left Blenheim on Thursday for a six months’ trip to England. Miso Helen McCallum has returned from Pieton, where she has been spending a few weeks.
Mr and Mrs B. Clouston have returned from their visit to Ocean Bay.
