FEILDING.

March 4. Children’s Picnic. On Saturday last Mrs Giesen gave a successful children’s picnic. Games, races, see-saws and treasure buns passed the time away. The young guests enjoyed afternoon tea in the bush. Among the young folk I noticed Misses Lance (2), Giesen (3), Mason (2), Innes Jones, Atkins, Haggitt (2), Carr, Miles, McAllum (2), Billiatt (3), Ross, Gorton, Roberts, e Venables, Hoult, Blundell, Masters Giesen, Blundell, Roberts, Mason, Lance (2), Wooliams, Gorton. Personal. Mrs. Bull, who has been staying in Wellington, has returned to Feilding. Mrs. Roberts and children, who have been staying at the seaside, have returned to their home on the hill. Mrs. Montgomery (Ashburton) is staying with friends in Feilding. Mrs. Stewart has been staying in Wanganui for a few days. Miss Smith (Now Plymouth) is the guest of Mrs. N. Gorton. Miss Bruce and Miss Johnston, of Kiwitea, are staying at Rona Bay. Miss Jacob (England) is the guest of Mrs. Meyrick. Miss Dalrymple (Rangitikei) is also the guest of Mrs. Meyrick. Mrs. H. Hill (Christchurch) is the guest of Mrs. Wheeler. Mr. and Mrs. W. Moss (Australia), ■who have been staying with Mrs. Atkinson, have gone to Auckland. Dr. and Mrs. Willis, who have been touring the Old Country, have returned. Mrs. Gillespie, who has been -staying in Wellington, has returned to her home in Feilding.
