TAURANGA.
February 15. The fine weather is giving the tennis players a splendid chance to get through their matches. On Saturday the lawns were crowded, and some good sets played. So far no outside matches have eventuated. On Monday, Mrs. Baigent gave a small luncheon at “ Maungawhare,” Oturaaetai. Those present were:—Mr. and Mrs. H. Day, Mr. and Mrs. Pillans, Rev. Erie Rice, Dr. and Mrs. Bewes, Mrs. H. Lysaght, Miss Nelson, Mrs. Bent, Miss Franklyn, Mr. Munro (Hawera), Mr. and Mrs. Hamill, Miss Badger. Mr. H. Lysaght has gone to New mouthMr. H. Munro (Hawera), is the guest of Mr. and Mrs. H. Day. Mrs. Bewes returned from Auckland last Friday-
