definite .period to study nursing at Dr. Truby King's Home in Dunedin. After the pictures the guests adjourned to the Kapai Tea Rooms, where a Aelieiou.s supper was given by Mrs. and Mrs. Nolan. On behalf of her many friends, Mr. Chalmers presented the guest- of honour with a silver hair brush,' comb, and mirror. Some of those present were': Mrs. and Mieses Nolan' (3), Mr. B. and Mrs. .1011, Mr., Mrs. and Mis Raine, Mrs. Minks, Misses Young (2), Misses Hunter (2), Miss and Masters Goodison (2), Miss Glenn, Misses Caplen (2), Miss Dingle, Messrs. Whitehorn, Treweek, Hill, Jennems, Thomson, Chalmers and others. Personal. Mrs. Littlejohn, who has been visiting her daughter, Mrs. J. B. Mac Diarmid, has returned to Wellington. Mr. and Mrs. Welsh have returned from a delightful tnp to the Southern Lakes. Miss Raine left Hawera yesterday for Dunedin. The Misses Glenn have returned from Auckland. Air-, Mrs, and Miss White and Mr. and Aire. Graves have returned, after spending a delightful week at Mt. Eginont Hostelry. Mrs. Short (Auckland) is visiting her daughter, Mrs, G Lassan. Mr. Tudehope, who has been the guest of Mr. and Mrs. Bright, has returned to Hamilton.
Aire. Cardale is visiting Wellington. The Aliases Good (2) are staying with their brother, Air. W. Good, at Strathmore.
Miss Ward, who has been tlie guest of Airs. Barton, has returned to Auckland.
