1 lie annual sports meeting of the Wellington College students took place last week in tine weather and in the presence of a large attendance of spectators. The fields were large, ami the contests, in the majority of instances, good. L A. Beard, in the open long jump, got within a-quarter of an inch of the school record of 20ft. put up by !•'. W. B. Goodbehere in 1904, covering 19ft 11 Jin. In the centre of the page is a group of competitors.
