SAME PAGE AS AUCKLAND LETTER THE LYRIC THEATRE.
Of all the picture shows in Auckland none provide a better or more varied entertainment than may be seen nightly at the Lyric, in Symonds Street. The theatre itself is comfortable and up-to-date in its appointments, ami the standard of the pictures shown is beyond question. One of the features of the Lyric entertainment is the introduction into the programme of films of local and typical interest. A typical example is afforded by this week’s programme, which, in addition to the usual wide selection of dramatic, scenic and humorous films, contains a fine picture dealing with the New Zealand Cup meeting in Cliristehurcb.
