Idiotic Feats.
While President Taft and Dr Woodrow Wilson are content to be known as quiet family men, fond of a little golf and gardening as recreations, no such reputation apparently suffices for the •'mighty hunter,” Theodore Roosevelt It would seem that, even before his sensational conduct after the recent shooting episode, he thought iit advisable, in order >to keep himself "well under the people’s gaze during his Presidential candidature, to indulge in the prank of taking the engine-driver’s place at a dangerous point in Montana and driving the train to the risk of the unfortunate passengers. After he had tired of this game, he seems to have amused himself by climbing along the running board of the locomotive while the train was in motion. Such escapades might be excusable in a high-spirited mischievous boy, but what is to be said in regard to ah elderly, adipose gentleman whose defective sight necessitates the use of powerful glasses? Bitter must be the uses - of advertisement in America if
Presidential candidates have to currv favour with electors by such idiotic feats.
