THE ROWING SEASON OPENED IN WELLINGTON.
The weather was bad for the opening of the rowing season in Wellington, but enthusiasm cares little for weather and the skids and balconies of the sheds Were crowded with visitors, among whom were a large number of ladies. The Hon. H. I>. Bell, president of the Wellington Bowing Association declared the season open, after which a number of races were decided. (I) lion. 11. D.
