October 12Tennis Club. At the annual meeting of the Stratford Tennis Club, held recently, it was decided to open the Club early next month. Mr. W. H. Young was again elected president; Drs. Carbary and Paget, Messrs. D. Anderson and Fussell, vice-presidents; Air. Alan .Tones, secietiu'y and treasurer. PersonalAirs. T’niaeke gave a small dinner party on Tuesday evening. Anderson is visiting friends in Wellington. Mrs. Cecil Wright is spending a few days in New Plymouth. .Dr. and Airs. -Menzies, who left here recently for Auckland, are settling »t Lake Takapuna.
