Fossil Camels.
The fu\sil focM-sil 'Camels ever ioii.nd intact <in America are being aet up in the. Carnegie Museum iri Pittsburg, fund curiouis little animals 'they arc, being not much larger than greyhounds, with slender legs and long TH'eks. These skeletons were clothed with llvsh ages ago, and existed in the Niobrara \ alley in Wostcin Nebraska,' where Prof. O. A. Peterson-, of the Carnegie Museum, turn Dr B. Loomis, of Yale University, foanid them. These fossil canuds are said to be the remot-e a-u.cevstors of the modern camels and dlromeduries of Arabia ami Africa, and of the American llamas.
